WHAT IS BIOMECHANICAL ASSESSMENT?

A biomechanical assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of how an individual's body moves, focusing on the mechanics of their joints, muscles, and overall posture, particularly during activities like walking or running.

It aims to identify any imbalances or abnormalities in movement patterns that might be contributing to pain, injury, or reduced performance

BENEFITS OF BIOMECHANICAL TREATMENT

Physio Pattern Manchester is looking at the relationship between pain that you might be experiencing and how the body moves in space.

After a thorough posture analysis and gait analysis a master level therapist will create an environment where you can get more movement, more newness - newness that restores your old forgotten patterns, the loss of which have led to today's inhibition.

Ultimately Physio Pattern Manchester is always trying to align the body and bring it back to a neutral position ,

when this is achieved , and the body is balanced , pain , stiffness or discomfort starts to fade away.

IS BIOMECHANICAL TREATMENT EFFECTIVE?

Biomechanical treatment, which focuses on analyzing and correcting movement patterns, can be effective, particularly in injury prevention, improved performance, and pain management, especially for conditions like knee osteoarthritis. However, its effectiveness can vary, and it may be most beneficial when combined with other therapies.
