Acupuncture - Dry needling utilises a solid, filament needle and relies on the stimulation of specific reactions in the target tissue for its therapeutic effect.

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique where fine needles are inserted into specific points on the body to relieve pain and treat various health conditions. It's based on the concept of balancing the body's vital energy, or "Qi," which is believed to flow through pathways called meridians.

WHAT IS THE AIM OF ACUPUNCTURE?

The primary aim of acupuncture is to stimulate the body's natural healing processes and restore balance by inserting thin needles into specific points on the body.

Traditional Chinese medicine views this as balancing the flow of "qi" (energy) along meridians, while Western practitioners focus on stimulating nerves, muscles, and connective tissue. Ultimately, acupuncture aims to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and promote overall well-being
